Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of this site and the way I work with clients. Best Pitch is run by Isaac Hess, a solo developer in Orlando, Florida. If you are working with me, the written scope you approve controls where it differs from this page.

Using this site

You may browse the site and send me a project enquiry. Please do not misuse the site: no attempts to break it, overload it, or send spam through the form.

Everything on the site (text, design, photos, and the screenshots of past work) belongs to me or to the clients shown, and may not be copied without permission.

Fixed-price work

My packages are Launch ($1,500), Business ($3,000), Product ($6,000+). The latest prices are always on the services page. Monthly care plans and add-ons are priced there too.

Every project gets a written scope before anything starts: the pages and features, the price, and the date. Nothing starts and nothing is charged until you have read the scope and approved it. The price in the approved scope is the price, unless you ask for something that is not in it, in which case I will tell you before doing it.

Payment terms, and who owns what while a balance is open, are written into the scope or agreement you approve.

Timelines and changes

The services page states how fast I aim to launch each package. Those dates assume I get what I need from you (words, photos, logo, answers) when I ask for it. If that is late, the date moves.

You see the work on a preview link as it comes together, and the process includes one round of changes before launch. Further changes are quoted before I do them.

What you provide

You promise that the words, photos, logos and claims you give me are yours to use and are true. I publish only what you can stand behind, such as licenses and experience you can prove. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you tell me.

Ownership of the finished work

What you supply stays yours. Once any balance in the approved scope is paid, the finished site is yours to keep, as set out in that scope. I may keep tools, code and methods I use across projects, and I may show the finished site in my portfolio unless you ask me not to.

Third-party services

Sites often rely on outside services such as domains, hosting, email, booking and payment tools. Those services have their own terms and I am not responsible for their outages or changes. The scope names the ones your project uses.

No guarantees about results

I build carefully and fix what I get wrong, but I cannot promise a particular number of visitors, calls, bookings or search rankings. Those depend on things outside my control.

The site and my advice are provided as they are, without warranties beyond what the written scope states.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for indirect or lost-profit damages, and my total liability for any claim relating to a project is limited to the amount you paid me for that project.

Ending a project

Either of us can end a project or a monthly plan by telling the other in writing (email or text counts). You pay for work already done up to that point, and I hand over what is yours as set out in the scope.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and any dispute will be handled in the courts located in Florida.

Contact and changes

Questions: hello@yourbestpitch.com. If these terms change, I will update this page and the date at the top. Work already agreed keeps the terms in its approved scope.
