So everything a customer sees looks like one business.
The van says one thing, the invoice says another, the Instagram is a third, and the sign outside has a font nobody can name. Individually none of that matters. Together it is the difference between a business that looks established and one that looks like it started last week — and customers read that difference long before they read a word of the copy.
- A logo, in the formats you will actually need — the sign, the shirt, the invoice, the round one for a profile picture
- A small set of colours that work on a screen and survive being printed
- Two typefaces, chosen and paired, with the sizes already decided
- A one-page guide plain enough to hand to a printer, a sign shop or whoever runs your Instagram
- Every original file, yours, with no subscription holding them
When it is worth doing
It is worth doing at the start, because everything built afterwards can use it, and the site costs the same either way. It is also worth doing when you have outgrown something you made yourself in an afternoon three years ago and have quietly stopped putting on things. If you already have a logo you like, keep it — I will build the site around it and charge you nothing for the privilege.
I am a developer who designs, not a branding agency.
What that means in practice: this is a small, finished identity for a business that needs to look like itself. It is not a naming exercise, a market positioning study, or thirty pages of brand strategy, and if that is genuinely what you need then somebody else should do it and I will happily build against whatever they give you. For most local businesses that work is not what is missing. A consistent logo, a colour that is always the same colour, and one page telling everyone which is which — that is what is missing.
It is bought on top of any package, or on its own if a site is not what you need yet. Either way, no website I build takes longer than 30 days from the day you approve the scope.
Tell me what you are trying to build.
The form takes about ten minutes. I read every one myself and reply the same day.
