Case study
Theta State
A marketplace that places vetted sound bath, yoga and meditation teachers into rehab and mental-health programs in Los Angeles. A facility books a standing weekly class, and the platform handles the scheduling, a guaranteed backup teacher, one monthly invoice, and paying the teachers. It is built and running as a live preview, ahead of launch.

01Problem
Programs that want a weekly sound bath, yoga or meditation class for their clients have to find teachers one at a time, chase schedules, and scramble when a teacher cancels. Teachers, for their part, have no steady way to reach these programs.
02Approach
A two-sided marketplace. A facility asks for a standing weekly class, and the team matches it with a vetted teacher. Scheduling, reminders and a guaranteed backup teacher are handled by the platform, with automatic call-ups when a class needs cover. The facility gets one monthly invoice and the teachers are paid through Stripe Connect. It comes with an admin back office, a teacher portal and a facility dashboard, and the payments code was reviewed separately before anything went near real money. It started from the same marketplace starter as CageList.
03Result
Built end to end and live as a preview, ahead of its public launch. It has no customers yet.
Under the hood
Next.js on Vercel, Postgres and auth on Supabase, Stripe Connect for teacher payouts, Twilio for text reminders and backup call-ups, Resend for email.
